Glaze

Earlier when my mind glazed over and I let it wander where it would, it came across thoughts of you. What a surprise, right? I was thinking about how it's been a few weeks since I've seen you... and then I shuddered to remember when I didn't see you for a few months earlier this year. I remembered how awful that was, then on the heels of that thought came another: did any of those girls you kissed during those months make you think of me? Did you feel a burning in the pit of your stomache or a pull deep in your chest, like I did when I kissed someone else?
