I saw you on Wednesday. I was in the car with my mom. We had just gotten a bunch of books from BAM, and were waiting in the line to leave the parking lot. The light was red, and I wasn't really paying attention to anything but the rain droplets racing down my window... until my mom asked me if I could read the bumper sticker on the car in front of us. I looked up and suddenly couldn't breathe. It was your car. I know this as well as I know my own name. I read the bumper sticker to her without looking at it and she may have mumbled a response, but I was too busy staring at your car.
Even though it was dark and rainy, I could see you. Your windshield wipers were going at the same speed as mine (we have the same car) and I saw you lean over, maybe to change the CD track or something. I wanted you to know I was there, so close to you... so I "accidentally" leaned on the horn a bit. Haha. You probably were like, "Wtf?" and ignored the crazed person behind you who honked at you for seemingly no reason. But it was ME! I wanted to text you or call you, but I couldn't, especially with her right next to me.
I still can't believe we were so close. Mmmm. =D
...But it's not enough.
