Why on Earth would I title a post "Orange," you might ask?
Well, it's simply because as I was staring at my computer screen absently, rummaging through my mind for a title to this very post, I thought I saw the flash of orange that signals a received IM (on AIM, for the rather brainless among you).

Yeah okay, so that might be rather sad, but it's not my fault that I'm hoping for IMs. Not because I'm desperate for human contact or because I have no friends or anything like that... No, it's only because when I IM someone, I expect them to respond.
Ya dig?
Needless to say, I didn't get an IM.
Last night, I spent the night at Lizzie's house. It was amusing, to say the least. We watched the last half of Bring it On: All or Nothing (who knew there were three?!?), then proceeded to immerse ourselves into the magic that is Mysterious Skin.
May I just say how hot the main character was?
OH MY GOD HE IS FIIIIINE!!!!!!!!!

----------------------------------------------
In the week that I haven't written, all kinds of fun has happened.
In no particular order, here it is:
-hung out with Rain
-hung out with Pamfee
-hung out with Heather (I think??)
-spent the night at Tori's, then
-went to Summer Waves with her and got fabulously sunburned
-slept over @ Chels's with Allie (and got more burned)
-went to orientation!!!!!
-hung out with Lizzie/Ryan/Allie/Devon afterwards
-watched Detroit Rock City with Lizzie/Devon
-then proceeded to see Hot Rod (♥) with them, too
-slept over at Lizzie's
...and now here I sit.

Don't I usually have some thought I must analyze? Some theory, notion, or otherwise crazy nonsense? The answer is yes, yes I do. So why am I so lacking in craziness today?
Ha, I'm not.
Puh-lease.
Tuesday was orientation, the Loop, Lizzie's, the movies, etc.
It was certainly some of the best fun I've had in a while.
Said fun got me thinking...
Why can't things just be simple?
The answer to that question can be taken in many different directions.
I think I'll be plain and head towards the path of "What if?".
What if life was like a yes or no question?
Example: Do you want to?
Example: Will you do it?
What if life was more open-ended?
Example: Why do you feel that way?
Example: What does it mean to you?
See, life, in general, is not a yes or no question. It's more open-ended.
But you can't have one type without the other. Not on this planet.
When you decide whether or not you want to do or be something, pondering the why of your ways is naturally the next step. When you decide whether or not you will do or be something, understanding the importance of your choice is a necessity.
...Am I making any sense?
What I mean is that things are never simple, no matter how much we try to force them to be, because humanity has an unquenchable thirst for reason.
Wow, I think I hit my own nail on the head.
Here's a reflection of what I'm thinking, in essence:
